Harold Washington College (HWC) Faculty and Students Together (FAST) Fund

With Faculty and Students (FAST) working together, the HWC FAST Fund Team hopes to reduce the paperwork and red tape needed to get students money when they need it fast.

The Believe in Students FAST Fund at HWC provides emergency money for students experiencing financial hardships related to housing and food insecurity and learning.

Housing insecurity includes a broad set of challenges such as the inability to pay rent or utilities, or the need to move frequently.

Food insecurity is the limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate and safe food, or the ability to acquire such food in a socially acceptable manner.
