The faculty and professional negotiating teams are proud and happy to inform the membership that we have reached tentative contract agreements with the City Colleges of Chicago for both the faculty and professional contracts! This couldn’t have been achieved without the pressure of our rally Thursday night and the press we’ve received regarding our potential strike. Our teams spent all day Saturday in negotiations and the Chancellor himself was present to press his side of the table to keep negotiating.
We are eager to inform you of the details. We will be sending out information in the next two days regarding informational meetings at the colleges to explain the contracts and the process for ratification.
